The man killed at Belledune River (Glouc. Co.) last week was called Jerome DAIGLE, not DEAGUE as reported, It appears he was driving logs and went to the bank of the river to cut a bent tree out of the way. It broke off when he struck it the first blow and springing struck him in the head throwing him into the river. He was taken out in a few minutes but life was extinct.
