An Inquest was held Thursday before Dr. W. Bayard, Coroner on view of the body of John PHINNEY, Private 30th Regt. Verdict: Found drowned. The deceased is stated to have wandered from his post at Fort Howe (St. John) and was found drowned in a slip at York Point.
