Midland (Kings Co.) Dec. 12 - Mrs. John CASE, who has been suffering so long a time with cancer in the face, was found dead in her bed Saturday morn. last. Her son, W.E. CASEm with whom she resides, sat up with her Friday night and on leaving her in the morn. saw so little change in her that he went to the woods for a load of wood. On Mrs. W.E. Case going into the room some hours later with breakfast for the old lady, on turning down the bead clothes, she was startled to find her quite dead. The deceased was a daughter of the late James SHERWOOD and the last member of a large family. She leaves five sons, Bradford CASE, George CASE, Isaac CASE, Wilbur CASE and Emory CASE and five daughters, Mrs. Harvey NOBLES, Mrs. Simon LAKE, Mrs. Daniel SHERWOOD, Mrs. Lemuel JOHNSON and Mrs. Jeremiah SPRAGG. The funeral services at Midland were conducted by the pastor, Rev. Delong, assisted by Rev. Shaw, Baptist Minister at the Point. - (correction Lemuel Johnson should read Samuel JOHNSON)
