The Methodist Church at Lakeville (Carleton Co.) was the scene of a pleasing ceremony on Wednesday, June 7th, it being the marriage of Edith E. HUME youngest d/o Alexander HUME, Esq. and H.H. WHITMAN, merchant of Lawrencetown, N.S. The bridesmaid was Miss Laura A. PARKS, Woodstock. The groom was supported by R.L. CARVELL. The officiating clergyman was Rev. J. Parkins.
