Thursday 15th Feb., Adam THOMPSON, age 24, left his home at Walton, Hants Co., N.S. with the intention of visiting some friends who were logging up the Petite Riviere about 7 miles from Walton. The next morning he was found dead upon the marsh about a half mile from the loggers' camp. It is supposed that owing to the depth of the snow, he became tired and his feet froze so that he was unable to proceed any further and he was obliged to lay down and die. He was a member of Sons of Temperance and had only been married a few days. - Halifax Colonist.
