From the 'Triverton Gazette and Eastern Democrat Herald' Aug. 2, 1887 - Great interest was felt at Bradnich (Devonshire, England) it being the 100th birthday of Mrs. John SHARLAND. She was born at Newton St. Cyres in 1787 and was the seventh of eleven children, all of whom she has long survived. Mrs. Sharland has been a resident of Bradnich over 70 years. She is now living at Bowhill, residence of her grand daughter, Mrs. WRIGHTON - The above lady referred to above is an aunt on the father's side of E.B. GODFREY, Charles GODFREY and Miss Julia GODFREY of Dorchester (West. Co.). These are the only relatives on this side of the Atlantic.
