By the death of John TUCKER which occurred yesterday Saint John loses a good citizen. He came here when appointed English Lloyd Surveyor in 1852, a position he held until 1881 when he resigned. He was in his 76th year. Mrs. Tucker and two children - Mrs. C.W. WELDON and Major TUCKER, survive him.
