Grand Manan (Charlotte Co.) - Thrice the death cart has rolled along since our last writing. The first victim was Levi WILCOX of Deep Cove, a young man who felt blessed by the spirit and desired baptism from his sick bed. A baptism service was held by Rev. W. Perry, greatly to the young man's comfort. The second was a young woman of about 18 years, the daughter of Webb CHENEY of Whitehead, who was suddenly taken ill, bursted a blood vessel and died, adding a heavy load of sorrow to her grief stricken parents. Lastly went Robert WOOSTER, only s/o Mr. and Mrs. Howard WOOSTER of Grand Harbor. He graduated from the Provincial Normal School a little over two years ago, though he taught only one term. He had been ill for several months.
