The death on the 4th inst. at the 'Cumberland House' of John SAVAGE, of typhoid fever, has caused mourning among his friends in Amherst, N.S. He has for a number of years occupied the position of foreman in the wood-working dept. of Wm Holmes carriage shop. He was a son of Daniel SAVAGE of Emigrant Settlement, Botsford Parish (West. Co.) and brother of Chas. SAVAGE of Delahunt & Savage. His remains were taken to his home for interment.
