(abridged) A little boy about 2 1/2 years of age, s/o George BOONE of Nashwaaksis (York Co.), was playing in Thompson's Grist Mill Friday afternoon, when he was caught by a belt and carried around several times between the revolving beam and the cleaner, the space between which is only 3inches. Strange to say the child was alive when removed. Dr. Brown was called in who did all that was possible to relieve the sufferer. There was some slight chance of his recovery.
