Dr. J. McGregor BAXTER, Chatham (North. Co.) was called to Moncton Tuesday morn. by the sudden death of his brother, Gordon BAXTER. The 'Times' says: The community was shocked to hear of the death of Dr. R.G. BAXTER. Deceased had been indisposed and though confined to his house for some days was able to walk about. Last eve., about 9 o'clock, while standing in the upper hall he suddenly fell. Mrs. Baxter was immediately summoned. His brother-in-law, E.M. ESTEY, Mediacl Hall and Drs. Ross and McCully were quickly in attendance, but he never rallied and died shortly before midnight. He had been subject to heart disease.
