On Thanksgiving Day Frank DUPUIS and Thos. McDOWELL went shooting at Canaan. The former sat down on the railway track and a train going at a rate of 30 miles an hour struck him killing him instantly. It appears that both men had been drinking and it is thought that Dupuis fell asleep on the rail.
