d. Napan (North. Co.) age 78, Jean Ross DIXON w/o James DIXON. She was a native of Maryport, England and emigrated from Scotland with her husband and young family to this Country in 1823. Among the first settlers in Napan, when it was a wilderness, she shared the toild of her husband and neighbours. Besides her bereaved husband and children, she has left a goodly number of grand children and some great grandchildren.
