Yesterday morn., William LEE, Barrister (St. JOhn) city was found dead in his bed at the residence of his aunt on Sewell St. An inquest was held on the body by Coroner Earle, at which a brother of the deceased, who is a druggist, testified that on Tuesday night, he gave his brother a grain of morphine to induce sleep of which he had been deprived by reason of unnatural excitement of the nervous system produced by heavy drinking. It was shown that death did not result from the morphine and the jury brought in a verdict of death from excessive use of alcoholic liquors. The deceased, age 28, was son of George LEE, Esq. of Fredericton to which place his body will be taken for interment.
