d. Albany, Oregon, April 9th, Carrie F. BAIRD w/o George H. BAIRD and youngest d/o Jane ROGERS and William ROGERS of Bristol (Carleton Co.), 42nd year. Sister Baird left her home with her children about 2 1/2 years ago to join her husband who had gone before, but scarcely had they settled down, when she became afflicted with cancer in the throat, which caused her death after 15 months intense suffering. A funeral service was held at Bristol. The occasion was improved by Elder S.E. Currie.
