W.W. CLARKE, who asked through the press for information concerning the parents or other relatives of one Peter McRAE, a native of this province, who is now overseer on a plantation in the Sandwich Islands, has received a letter from a man named John T. PEAKE living at Malpeque giving him some information on the subject. Mr. Peake says that Mr. McRae's mother is now residing in St. John, N.B., but that his father died about 10 or 11 years ago. His brother, Donald McRAE and a sister are in San Francisco and his sister, Ellen McRAE is living with her mother in St. John. Another sister of his is married at Malpeque and is Peake's step-mother. Mr. Peake has written to McRae's mother in St. John and expects to hear from her in a few days. - Charlottetown, P.E.I. 'Examiner'.
