The death of Donald CURRIE, Esq., late Collector of Customs for Charlottetown, P.E.I. took place in that city 9th inst. He was in his 49th year. He was appointed in 1873 and continued to fill the office until about six weeks ago, when, on account of failing health, he asked the government to place him on the superannuation list.
