An accident occurred Wednesday last at the Glebe manganese mines near Sussex (Kings Co.) owned by Messrs. Gould & Alley. Joseph RICHARDSON, an employee, contrary to express orders approached a spot where a charge had been placed within 20 minutes after the time of firing. The result was the Mr. Richardson was blown into the air and had a leg shattered, besides sustaining severe internal injuries. His recovery is doubtful.
