Much anxiety is felt for Schr. "Miller & Woodman" bound from New York for St. John with a cargo of coal for R.P. McGIVERN. She arrived at Vineyard Haven on the 6th and sailed again on the 8th, since whih time nothing has been heard of her. It is feared that during the severe storm of the 9th and 10th, the vessel became iced up and sank. The following comprised her crew when she left here and in all probability remained by the vessel on her return trip: Edmund S. HOLDER, aged about 36, Portland (St. John), master; J. Wesley LASKIE, age 42, Kings Co., mate; Harmon SNOWDON, 28, Sackville (West. Co.) cook and steward; James FOSTER, 30, St. John and George MILBURY, 32, Port Lorne, N.S., seamen. Capt. Holder and Mate Laskie are married men. The former's wife and child reside in Portland and the latter's family consists of a wife and four children. They reside at Long Reach. The "Miller and Wooman" is a schonner of 136 tons register and was built at Holderville (Kings Co.) by Samuel J. HOLDER in November last. This is her first round trip between NewYork and St. John. She is owned by James CLARK of St. John.
