Mrs. STEWART w/o Rev. Dr. STEWART, prof. of theology at Mount Allison, died suddenly at her home, Sunday eve. During the past two years the deceased has not been favored with good health, but on Saturday, beyong a slight cold, was as well as usual. On Sunday morn. she was able to be around the home, but towards night she showed signs of suffering, and shortly after the physicians arrived at 11 o'clock she passed away. The immediate cause of death was asthmatic grip followed by congestion. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Stewart was a d.o late David STARR of Halifax, N.S. She leaves two daughters, Lavinia M. STEWART and Hattie S. STEWART of Sackville and two son, William H. STEWART, now in China, and Chas. D. STEWART of Manchester, Robertson and Allison, St. John, N.B.
