Robert PHILLIPS, well known in this community as a truckman and hearse driver, received injuries on Thursday, from the effects of which he died on Friday morn. He was driving a load of wood, when one of the reins breaking, his horse started and PHILLIPS jumped from the load to stop him, when becoming entangled with the reins, he fell, and the wheels passed over his body.
