Schr. "William H. Mitchell", Patterson of Joggins Mines, N.S., for New York with a cargo of piling arrived at Vineyard Haven on 4th reports Dec. 1st about 4 p.m., off Cape Cod, seaman John GALBRAITH of St. John, N.B. fell overboard from the after part of the vessel and was drowned. He sank soon after striking the water making it impossible to rescue him.
