Donald FERRIS of Grand Lake (Queens Co.), cousin to Hon. Lock. FERRIS is dying at the home of his mother-in-law, Mrs. HOLDER, corner of Westmorland and George streets. He had been working at the Mitchell Boom when he caught cold. He endeavored to fight it off, but it developed into fever and last Thursday he was brought to town for treatment and since then congestion of the lungs set in. His wife and child are expected to arrive by boat tobight.
