The marriage of Miss Edith WILLIAMS and Fred MAHONEY took place at the home of the bride, 83 High St., yesterday morn. at 6 o'clock. The bride was assisted by her sister, Miss Clara WILLIAMS and O.V.D. JONES did honors for the groom. Rev. Penna performed the ceremony. The groom has been in the employ of James MOULSON, Water St., for a number of years. The newly wed couple left by steamer for New York where they will in future reside, Mr. Mahoney having accepted a lucrative position in that city.
