A social event is announced for this afternoon 2 o'clock in which Fred ARMSTRONG of the Lime Works, St. John, will be united in marriage with Miss Edna COCHRAN d/o Sgt. Robert COCHRAN of the R.R.C.I. It is understood that the event will take place at the residence of the bride's father and that Rev. Willard McDonald will perform the ceremony. The couple will take the evening train or their new home North End, St. John.
