Truro 'Guardian': Eleanor Fletcher CORBETT relict of Robert CORBETT of Portaupique, who died a few days ago in her 96th year, had lived to see her fifth generation. At the time of her death her eight children were all living with one exception, the oldest being Mrs. James URQUHART of Great Village, N.S., age 71. She had 55 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, one of whom is living in Debert and the other in New York. Mrs. Corbett retained her mental faculties till the last and was able to go about and even work till the day of her death. Her daughter, Mrs. Wm CAMPBELL, who resided in Montana for many years, came home shortly before her death. Mrs. Corbett was born in Portaupique, Oct. 29th, 1793. Her husband was born in Five Islands, Dec. 25th, 1788. They were married in 1812. Mr. Corbett, who was a remarkably hale man, died in 1878.
