Centenary Church was filled last eve. on the occasion of the service held in memory of one of its oldest members, Edward T. KNOWLES who died Feb. 23, age 84. He was born at Windsor, N.S. Jan. 5, 1804. At the age of 25 he was converted, became a member of the church and soon after engaged in Christain work in Granville. In 1836 he came to this city and the following year, while connected with the Germain St. Church, was placed on the building committee of the Centenary Church. He was one of the first board of trustees of Centenary Church.
