The death is announced at Elgin, Illinois of Rev. W.P. EVERETT. The deceased was the eldest s/o late C.D. EVERETT and brother of Messrs. C.A. EVERETT, Edwin J. EVERETT and Thomas E. EVERETT of this city and Geo. F. EVERETT of Ottawa. The rev. gentleman was well known in this city during the time he had pastoral charge of the Brussells Street Baptist Church and subsequently the old Zion Church (now Owen's art gallery). The deceased was 67 years old.
