The 'Record' says: An interesting event took place Saturday eve., 26th Jan. at Stubb's hotel. A large number assembled to witness the marriage of Almon CHAPMAN, brother of the proprietor of the hotel to Miss Alice Bella TAYLOR of Port Elgin (West. Co.) The marriage ceremony was performed by Rev. Lucas. Miss Josephine OTTY and J.M. McINTYRE did the honors as bridesmaid and groomsman.
