St. Croix Courier - Mrs. Catherine BROWN died on Friday. She was the widow of Hon. James BROWN who represented Charlotte Co. in the Legislature for several years and for eight years was Surveyor General. She leaves a family of eight children. They are Wm GILLESPIE, by her first husband, of Moores Mills; John C. BROWN, Wilmot BROWN, David BROWN and Gilmor BROWN, Mrs. W.H. MARKS, Mrs. W.H. MAXWELL and Mrs. Jno. K. McKENZIE.
