Fredeicton 'Capital' says Private BATCHFORD of Royal School of Infantry in this garrison is the wearer of the Afghaistan medal and star '78, '79 and '80 for Almorah and Candahar; the Egyptian medal and two bars '84 and '85, for the Abugate and other battles. Mr. NEILSON, employed by Richard ESTEY below the Victoria Mills, formerly a sergent in 72nd Highlanders is also the owner of the Afghanistan medal, having been under Roberts in the famous march from Cabul to Candahar.
