It is with deepest regret we record the loss of schr. "Georgie Todd" owned by Messrs Todd, Clewley & Co., off Seal Islands, 15th inst., and the drowning of Alfred PRICE, first mate, John KNIGHT, second mate, James KENNEDY, steward and Mrs. HILL, wife of the captain. The vessel was one day out of St. Stephen on her voyage to Havana. She encountered a gale about 12 o'clock at night, bacame waterlogged and capsized. Great sympathy is felt in the community for the afflicted relatives who have been so suddenly bereaved. (see original)
