John LOGAN, Amherst, N.S. received a telegram on Monday of the death of his son, Howard LOGAN, at Montreal. Within an hour he received another telegram from Shediac announcing the drowning of another son, Walter LOGAN, at sea. Howard Logan of the 'Star' editorial staff died late eve. 12th in the Montreal General Hospital after a few days illness from typhoid fever.
