A large number of citizens attended the funeral of Daniel PATTON yesterday afternoon. The hearse was preceded by the Irish Literary and Benevolent Society of which deceased had been a member since its organization. From the residence on Hazen Street, the procession marched to the Cathedral where the usual service was conducted after which the remains were interred in the New Catholic Cemetery. The pall bearers were Simeon JONES, M.A. FINN, H.G. HUNT, M. COLL, M. GALLAGGHER, Geo. F. SMITH.
