Messrs. Alex. P. ADAMS and Joseph S. WETMORE, both young men and residents of Carleton (St. John) left town yesterday for British Columbia. They are accompanied by Seth T. TILLEY, a native of this Province, who has resided at New Westminster for some years and has been home for a short time on visit. The two first named gentlemen leave their families here. On Saturday eve., the friends of Mr. WETMORE waited upon him at his residence and presented him, as a token of their affect-ionate regard, with a valuable gold watch and a gold locket attached containing a portrait of his wife.
