Heron Lake 'News', June 30 - J.F. PEARSON spent his youth and early manhood in his native place and there married Miss Mary E. PECK, who survives him, Sept. 22, 1855 and shortly after marriage removed to Minnesota, locating first at Monticello and afterwards, in 1871, removing to Bingham Lake. Four years ago he moved to the farm near this place where he resided until failing health compelled him to remove to this village. Besides his aged wife there are left four children. His only surviving sister, Mrs. E.S. RITCHIE, also resides at this place, having removed here but a short time age. Mr. Pearson's funeral was held from the M.E. Church, Wednesday, Rev. L.A. Wilsey officiating.
