On Saturday afternoon, death removed our citizen, Wm LOGAN. Mr. Logan was a native of Ireland and came to this city about the year 1842. After six years residence he embarked in the soap business and today his Atlantic Steam Soap Works have an enviable reputation among busines men of the Maritime Provinces and Nfld. Mr. Logan leaves a widow, one son and two daughters. One of his daughters is the wife of Albert EDGECOMBE of Fredericton and the other is married to Edgar I. GOLDING. During the last year Mr. Logan has been confined to the house as an invalid and the business has been managed by his son James W. LOGAN.
