d. 14th Oct., at the residence of her adopted son, William CARSON, Martha RICHARDS relict of Deacon Benjamin RICHARDS of Cardigan (York Co.) 71st year. She was a daughter of David LEWIS and Sarah LEWIS who emigrated from Wales A.D. 1819 in the emigrant ship "Albion", Capt. DAVIS, and landed in Saint John (she being a child at the time) Our sister professed faith in Christ many years ago and united with the Congregational Church of which she remained a consistent member. The funeral took place on 16th Oct. She leaves an aged sister and one or two brothers are now in the U.S. (see eulogy)
