A man named Michael CURRAN met with an accident today which will perhaps prove fatal. He was ascending a ladder to the roof of a new brick house on Union St. opposite C.H. PETERS tannery with a pail of water in one hand when by some means he fell landing on a lot of stone beneath. His fall was heard by some of his fellow workmen who found him insensible. A doctor was called and by his advise Curran was removed to Public Hospital. He has a wife and family who are in Ireland.
