The Cambridge, Mass. 'Tribune' of Nov. 17 contains an illustrated notice of the bookmaking establishment of Houghton, Mifflin & Co. of which J. Murray Kay is a partner. James Murray KAY is a native of Glasgow Scotland and is 47 years old. He was educated in his native city and at London and was engaged for some years banking in that city. He came to this country to represent bond-holders of the European and North American railroads of Maine and New Brunswick. After accomplishing that duty, he was interested in the building of the great bridge at St. John, N.B. Last fall he came to live at Brookline and established the connection which resulted in making him a member of the firm the following spring.
