New Orleans, 31st Oct. - James RICHARDSON, second mate of the ship Kalos of St. John, N.B. fell down the hold of the American ship St. Patrick and struck upon his head, causing a fracture of the base of the skull, so severe as to result in death in less than four hours afterward.
