Word has been received of the death by accident of Charles WALSH at Vancouver, B.C. On March 4th Walsh was working at night as stevedore in loading a vessel. About midnight he fell from the deck to a ballast scow alongside and injured his death so severely that death occurred before daybreak. Mr. Walsh, who was about 30 years of age, left St. John some three years ago. He was a nephew of Charles WALSH, stevedore of this city and leaves a sister who resides in St. John. The body was interred in Vancouver.
