d. Arthurette (Victoria Co.) 29th Sept., Peter McDOUGALL, after nine mos sickness, sometimes suffering intensely. The deceased was born near the city of Saint John in the year 1795. He enlisted with the 104th regt. of British infantry in the year 1812, served seven years in the regular army. He was married to Miss Hannah WRIGHT in the year 1821, lived 53 years and 7 mos. with her as a loving companion. He was baptized by the late Rev. Chas. McMullin and joined the F.C. Baptist Church. He leaves eleven children, six sons and five daughters.
