About sunset on Saturday 13th, Joseph COMEAU, aged about 30, s/o Firman COMEAU and Sylvine COMEAU, aged about 17 s/o Luke COMEAU, both of Cape St. Mary's, Clare, left the breakwater at Cape St. Mary's for their homes at the head of the Cove a quarter of a mile distant. They were not much used to the boat of the kind and when about 60 yards from the shore she was upset. Sylvine Comeau, the younger of the two, struck out for the shore which he succeeded in reaching in safety. The other was seen to climb on the bottom of the overturn dory where he remained a few minutes when a sea striking him, he washed off and at once disappeared below the surface. - 'Yarmouth Herald'
