St. Andrews (Charlotte Co.) Aug. 6 - George W. SLOAT of wholesale boot and shoe firm of Wallace & Sloat, Chicago, who has been in town for ten days on a visit to his brother-in-law, Dr. J.A. WADE, left town yesterday for the west. Mr. Sloat is one of many Charlotte Co. young men who have found prosperity in foreign countries.
