A despatch from Amherst, N.S. states that James ANDREWS, farmer, of Fort Lawrence was digging potatoes yesterday afternoon and seeing plover on the flats over Musquash Creek, which was almost dry at low tide, he went across to shoot. The tide came in before he was aware and he was drowned in attempting to return. An inquest was held on the body at the Court House in Amherst.
