d. At the residence of her daughter, Mrs. John MACUMBER, Scotch Village, Hants Co., N.S., Aug. 3, Lydia BURGESS widow of Edward BURGESS, 89th year. When quite young our sister gave herself to the Saviour and several years after upon profession of her faith was immersed and united with the Methodist body. For upwards of 60 years she adorned that profession. The funeral service was conducted by the pastor of the Newport Baptist Church.
