Henry STEEVES of Salisbury died yesterday at that place at the residence of his son Emmerson STEEVES at the advanced age of 78 years. Mr. Steeves was a native of Albert Co., lived there all his life, till the last few years and was a stone mason by occupation. He has the distinction of being the last of the grandchildren of the original settlers, Steeves or STIEFFS, being the youngest s/o the youngest Stieff brothers. Mr. Steeves has been 53 years married and was the father of eleven children, only three of whom are now living viz. Emmerson STEEVES, Salisbury; A.W. STEEVES, Victoria, B.C.; and F.W. STEEVES, harness manufacturer, Moncton. His wife survives him.
