An inquest was held Saturday afternoon by Coroner Earle on the body of a male infant born in the Alms House (St. John) about 4 weeks ago, the mother being Kate O'NEIL. Later she swore the father was her brother-in-law, Robt. GIBSON, and th babe was taken out of the public institution to be taken care of by him and wife. On Friday the infant died. The family lives on Brussells St. in the house of Roderick ROSS. (see original)
