The funeral of George H. LAWRENCE which took place yesterday afternoon was largely attended. The body was taken to the Stone Church where services were performed by Rev. G.M. Armstrong and Rev. Canon Brigstocke. The pall bearers were Silas ALWARD, George W. WHITNEY, I. Allen JACK, William P. DOLE, Gilbert MURDOCH and E.J. BRASS. Other members of the board of the Institute (Mechnic's Institute) and members of the vestry of Trinity Church were present.
